Hawzah News Agency- Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, the head of Iran’s seminary, in separate meetings with senior Shia scholars Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani and Grand Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani in Qom on Wednesday, June 22, presented a report on the seminary delegation's recent trip to the Vatican and five European countries and his meeting with Pope Francis, the leader of the Catholic Church.

In these meetings, Ayatollah Arafi appreciated the support and guidelines of the great sources of emulation prior to his trip and added,” in the meeting with Pope Francis, the guidelines of the senior Shia sources of emulation were expressed to the Pope and they were warmly welcomed by him.; He also conveyed his greetings and regards to Shia scholars in Iran.
